Brooke and Trevor arrived to their engagement sess

Brooke and Trevor arrived to their engagement session early. We had initially planned to shoot at Columbia bottom with the sunflowers but the blooms weren't there So we decided to shift to Tower Grove. And I’m so glad we did. The directional light was incredibly romantic, the textures gave us room to explore, and when the nerves wore off, magic happened.

From there I was hardly there, they were incredible! And the photos prove it! I am so glad I was able to be a part of this session.

Sometimes, the most meaningful moments aren’t planned. They just happen.

As a wedding photographer, I have found that finding great light is one of the most stressful parts about being in the industry. And while I can do this while under the pressure of a wedding timeline, I want it to be as second nature to me as the settings on my camera are to me.

So hear’s to the little trick I learned for deliberate practice! 🥂

My little dude was born today.
He came out like a rocket, and I’m just thankful I was ready, because man was he slippery.

Watching my wife go through childbirth for the fourth time was nothing short of incredible. Enduring the pain of that shows me how much she loves me, and our children. Thanks babe! @christalynnwade

This will be our last, unless God’s got a miracle up His sleeve (iykyk).
